Autumn burger with organic meat

Gourmet autumn pumpkin burger

Yes, autumn always calls for ingredients with an intense aroma and flavor that help us prepare autumn recipes with meat that taste like home and true comfort food. The recipe we propose today is not a simple meat burger, but a sandwich that will warm our hearts with the genuine taste of a maxi organic meat burger and pumpkin: the true queen of this season.

The ingredients are very few but of high quality, the key points are organic beef, a seasonal pumpkin and everything you like to taste in the burger as an extra condiment.

But have fun creating your own super gourmet sandwich with all the ingredients you want.

The additional idea : compose your sandwich directly at the table together with your guests to have fun and personalize your burger to the maximum.

Organic meat: good and ethical

The organic meat you find in our online butcher comes from a Limousine breed cattle born and raised on pasture on the Bordona farm. A certified organic farm. Agri. Certified with animals raised on pasture: the attention to respecting natural processes and animal welfare is very high. The organic farm respects a short closed-cycle supply chain in which the reproduction of the animals still occurs naturally and the calves are born and grow breast-fed by their mothers until weaning, the cattle are free to rest in the stable or go out into outdoor spaces together with the grazing cows.

Organic hamburger procedure with pumpkin

Let's start preparing our ingredients. Take the pumpkin and cut it into flat slices to make it easier to fill the sandwich. Now caramelize the pumpkin with the red onion. In a non-stick saucepan, place the pumpkin, the onion cut into fine slices, a teaspoon of vinegar, the sugar and a couple of flakes of butter.

Keep it well mixed to prevent everything from sticking or burning excessively. If it seems too sweet, we can adjust it with more vinegar. Once ready, set them aside. Let's now move on to the pepper, cut it into strips and let it sear lightly on a hot non-stick griddle and set it aside - the same griddle will also be used for the burgers.

Let's prepare any other condiments we want to add: cut and clean some lettuce, cucumbers or other vegetables, cut the smoked scamorza into slices and prepare the bowls with the various sauces.

Now let's move on to the burgers. Cook on the same plate that we used for the peppers over a low heat for a few minutes on each side - based on the degree of cooking you like.

As soon as we reach the desired cooking point, we turn off the heat, place the slices of scamorza on each hamburger and cover with a lid to let everything melt.

Now all we have to do is compose our gourmet sandwich. We heat the bread and start adding all the ingredients: the hamburger with scamorza, the grilled peppers, the caramelized pumpkin slices and onion, a few drops of Tabasco and all the ingredients you have selected. A good autumn appetite!
