Procedure for organic roast beef with spices

First, in a bowl, mix together salt, pepper, chopped rosemary and chopped garlic. Then, we massage the mixture into both sides of the organic beef steak. Let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.

In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons oil over medium-high heat. The preparation begins by roasting the pieces of beef in a pan before transferring them to a baking dish and adding the other ingredients. Add the beef to the pan and cook until well browned on all sides, about 5 minutes.

Add the red wine, beef broth, thyme, Worcestershire sauce, tomato paste, and bay leaves. Simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Preheat the oven to 180°C. Transfer the beef to a greased baking dish. In the same pan, add garlic, onion, carrots and celery and cook for about 5 minutes or until vegetables are soft.

Pour the cooking juices over the beef in the baking dish and cover with foil. Once you keep it covered with foil, the dish should be baked for about 90 minutes before uncovering it and finishing cooking.

Uncover and continue cooking for an additional 30 minutes or until the beef is tender and the sauce has thickened. Serve over cooked rice or mashed potatoes and enjoy!
