For this recipe we thought of marinated chicken breast in an original way, you can decide to use organic chicken nuggets or sliced chicken breast to cut into the shape you prefer, but the result will still be super tasty. Here is a super tasty version with Italian aromas and a spicy touch.
Italian marinated chicken breast
Ingredients:
- 600 g organic chicken cut into cubes
For the marinade:
- 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1 grind of pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- 1 teaspoon fresh thyme
- 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar or soy sauce (optional)
Marinated chicken breast procedure
Start by making a marinade for your chicken. In a bowl, mix a spoonful of extra virgin olive oil, a spoonful of lemon juice, a teaspoon of salt, a grind of pepper, a teaspoon of garlic powder, a teaspoon of paprika, a teaspoon of oregano and a teaspoon of thyme. Mix all the ingredients until well combined.
Next, if you don't have chicken breast pieces, take organic chicken breast and cut it into cubes. Place the chicken cubes in a bowl and pour in the marinade. Make sure the chicken is well covered in the marinade. Cover the bowl with cling film and place it in the fridge for at least two hours.
Now, take a non-stick pan and heat it on medium-high temperature. Add a spoonful of extra virgin olive oil and let it heat for a minute. Add the chicken cubes and cook over medium heat for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Once the chicken is cooked, remove it from the heat and let it cool for a few minutes.
If, however, you want to grill the chicken, take a non-stick griddle and heat it to medium-high temperature. Add a spoonful of extra virgin olive oil and let heat for a minute. Add the chicken pieces and cook for about 8-10 minutes over medium heat, stirring occasionally. Make sure it is well cooked before serving.
