The easy recipe of Lomo saltado
Ingredients:
To prepare the Lomo Saltado you will need:
- 500 g of beef loin, rump or beef fillet
- 2 red onions chopped
- 2 red peppers chopped
- 2 chopped tomatoes
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Spring onions for garnish
Preparation of salted loin
We start by cutting the red onions and peppers into julienne strips. We also cut the tomatoes into wedges and the meat into thin strips.
Let's move on to marinating the meat, in a bowl, mix the meat with the soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, sugar, salt and pepper. Leave to marinate for at least 30 minutes.
Next, sauté the vegetables in a wok or large skillet and heat the olive oil over high heat. Sauté the red onions and red peppers until crispy.
Add the marinated meat to the wok or pan and cook over high heat for a few minutes, stirring constantly, until golden on the outside but still pink on the inside.
We combine the ingredients and compose the dish. Add the tomatoes cut into wedges and continue cooking for a couple of minutes.
