Organic meat summer rolls
Roll recipes: room for imagination
Beef rolls are the typical dinner-saving dish: very simple to eat and super imaginative in taste. The ingredients are simple and can be chosen just by taking a look inside the refrigerator - which in summer is not a bad idea either. However, the base always remains the same, fresh beef and, if we then add organic beef, the dish takes on that extra something.
The side ingredients can be very diverse, garlic and bacon for a Mex flavour, bread with parsley, cheese or ham; in short, imagination as always is the final - and perfect - ingredient. In fact, enriching the dish with genuine, healthy and colorful ingredients is an excellent way to indulge without regrets and satisfy the whole family in a minute.
In short, whether you prefer to bring a more autumnal or more summery dish to the table, the slices of organic meat - or the slices of veal - remain the fundamental ingredient for building a healthy, colorful and lively recipe: choosing Italian beef is an important decision to enhance the flavor of the dish and maintain the certainty that all the ingredients are of controlled origin, thus transforming the dish into a healthy and truly genuine dish. Today we want to offer you a very tasty version that recalls the one called Sicilian, but, having tried it ourselves, we want to share with you this delicious version of ours: we are talking about rolls with anchovies, olives and egg.
Ingredients for summer beef rolls for 4 people
- 8 slices of organic beef weighing approx. 300 g
- 5 tablespoons of breadcrumbs
- 4 anchovy fillets
- 1 large egg
- 1 organic lemon
- 1 glass of Brandy
- Salt and Pepper To Taste
- olives to taste
- parsley to taste
- butter to taste
- Serve with a light beer
Organic sliced rolls procedure
Finely chop the anchovies with the parsley and olives. In a pan, melt half the quantity of butter and add the breadcrumbs and toast. Now mix the chopped anchovies and parsley, the toasted breadcrumbs, the egg, salt and pepper to taste in a bowl.
We take the slices and put a spoonful of the stuffing mixture in the middle of each slice. Roll up the organic slices and secure them with a toothpick.
In a large pan, melt the remaining butter and place the rolls, browning them on both sides lightly and over a low heat. Now let's raise the heat and add the glass of Brandy, allowing it to evaporate.
Season the organic rolls with a pinch of salt and pepper. Arrange them on a serving plate and serve immediately with the tasty cooking juices, some puree and a grated lemon peel.
